Job summary

The Dutchman Heating & Air is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team serving Williamson, Rutherford, and Maury counties in the Greater Nashville area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while upholding our standards for craftsmanship and integrity.

You will work with a team of experienced professionals, take ownership of service performance, and provide clear options to customers.

Qualifications

• HVAC trade experience (5+ years)
• Residential HVAC installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, service & repair
• Strong diagnostic & troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, heat pumps, controls & electrical components
• Valid driver’s license & driving record
• Ability to meet drug-testing requirements
• Work indoors/outdoors in variable conditions
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and carry 25 lbs for 250 ft

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential service calls and assist with maintenance/installation as needed
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, modify, and service residential HVAC systems
• Inspect and test HVAC components for safe operation
• Perform heat loss/gain calculations to size systems
• Present good/better/best service options based on conditions & needs
• Explain work, findings, and operation clearly to homeowners
• Complete service reports and documentation for each call
• Recheck repairs and installations before leaving customer’s home
• Follow company pricing resources for service options
• Explain available maintenance memberships to customers
• Take ownership of service performance toward revenue goals
• Maintain clean/work area and service vehicle
• Follow safety procedures and team standards
• Participate in training & team meetings
• Deliver professional service upholding standards of craftsmanship & integrity
