Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, at our Derby, KS store. You will oversee and repair Refrigeration HVAC equipment across the facility, using a range of hand and power tools, adhering to safety policies, and managing work orders to support store operations.

The role requires extensive HVAC/Refrigeration experience, EPA refrigerant certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Refrigerant handling certification required (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, power, and digital tools.
• Receive and document repair work orders to support stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete safety training and follow Walmart safety policies and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as required.
