Job summary

Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at Walmart stores in Derby, KS, supports and oversees repair of refrigeration and HVAC assets. You will apply commercial HVAC skills, use hand tools, power tools, and digital devices to complete jobs and document activity in the work order system.

Minimum qualifications include 10 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving history.
• 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using appropriate tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete required safety training and follow EPA/Walmart policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed.
