Job summary

Walmart in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities. You will utilize commercial HVAC skills, hand and power tools, and digital tools to complete jobs and document activities.

The role requires extensive experience in refrigeration HVAC and EPA refrigerant handling, with opportunities for bonus incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration (Option 1)
• 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration with an AAS in HVAC (Option 2)
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman where required
• 1 year experience in plumbing or electrical or related equipment, or 2 years Walmart store experience
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR
• No major traffic violations in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand and power tools
• Use work order system to manage repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights as needed
