Budderfly is hiring a Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician in Raleigh, NC. The successful candidate will ensure optimal operation of Budderfly HVAC units, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate repairs to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a service technician on HVAC/R systems.
• EPA Universal Certification is required; HVAC Contractor H2 License is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel within Raleigh and surrounding areas.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Budderfly HVAC/R units across the service area.
• Identify maintenance risks and diagnose electrical/mechanical faults.
• Perform commissioning checks and adjust controller configurations.
• Provide routine maintenance such as filter changes and coil cleaning.
• Document all work in the company work order system and adhere to standards.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Participate in weekends if required and support team knowledge sharing.
