Job summary

Budderfly is seeking a motivated Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician in Cincinnati, OH. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of the Budderfly fleet of HVAC/R units, perform routine and corrective maintenance, and respond to emergency service calls as needed.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC/R experience, EPA certification, and strong troubleshooting skills. Occasional travel within the Cincinnati area and on-call duties are required to ensure peak system performance and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a service technician on HVAC/R systems.
• EPA Certification Required.
• HVAC Controls experience with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers beneficial.
• Ability to travel within Cincinnati, OH and surrounding areas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Budderfly HVAC/R units to ensure continuous operation.
• Identify maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC/R systems.
• Complete commissioning checks and verify controller configurations.
• Perform routine maintenance: filters, coils, belts, and general inspections.
• Respond to emergency service calls on nights and weekends (on-call).
• Document all work in the company work order system.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and safety regulations.
• Assist with customer queries.
