Job summary

Walmart in Granbury, TX is seeking a Senior Technician for Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration. The role is full-time, on-site, with varying shifts and an hourly pay range.

You will manage HVAC/R systems, lead diagnostics and preventive maintenance, and ensure adherence to OSHA and EPA refrigerant handling protocols. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years’ HVAC/grocery refrigeration experience and EPA Type II or Universal certification, with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 3 years’ HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience or 6 years’ with AAS in HVAC/R.
• Hold and maintain EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Manages refrigeration units and ensures compliance with codes and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinates field teams, mentors technicians, and supports on-call coverage.
