Job summary

McCloskey Mechanical, located in Orlando, FL, is seeking a highly experienced SR Technician / Field Supervisor for our HVAC/R team. The role requires 20+ years of proven experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration, with strong leadership and advanced diagnostic skills in the field.

The candidate will oversee field technicians, provide training, and ensure quality on service calls, installations, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 20 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R service and repair.
• Strong knowledge of rack refrigeration, glycol chillers, and commercial cooling systems.
• Ability to supervise teams and manage field operations.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and diagnostic capabilities.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to work independently and make critical field decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field technicians during service calls, installations, and PMS
• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC/R systems
• Ensure job site safety, quality, and compliance with company standards
• Coordinate daily operations, workflow, and job assignments
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians
• Complete and review service documentation and reports
