Job summary

Strictly Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for commercial HVAC installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery on multiple projects across the Southeast.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and subcontractors, while mentoring field staff and enforcing strict safety and quality standards to maintain momentum and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school certifications or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervising commercial installation HVAC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site field operations for commercial HVAC projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and safety standards.
• Act as the liaison between the Project Manager and General Contractor, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution.
• Organize expectations and workflow for subcontractors, confirm material readiness, and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Provide leadership by example—supporting, instructing, and sometimes participating directly in installation activities to maintain momentum.
• Manage labor, materials, and equipment to meet project goals and schedules.
• Enforce safety standards and proactively identify and address hazards.
• Attend project meetings; report progress, challenges, and key metrics.
• Mentor and develop field staff, fostering professionalism and accountability.
• Maintain communication with the General Superintendent and Project Manager.
