Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager specialized in HVAC in Phoenix. The role oversees HVAC projects from planning through handover, with emphasis on budget, schedule, and quality.

You will maintain strong client and contractor relationships and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver successful installations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC project management, a related engineering degree, and hands‑on experience with sheet metal, piping, and refrigerants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC sheet metal, mechanical, refrigerant piping, and hydronic piping.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Negotiate contracts effectively with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage the installation of HVAC systems, commercial plumbing, and mechanical and industrial piping.
• Oversee the construction management process, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to work.
• Ensure all projects are completed within budget, identifying any potential cost overruns and taking steps to prevent them.
