Position Title: Project Manager

We specialize in managing and overseeing all aspects of project delivery. Our team plans, directs, coordinates, and administers comprehensive project management functions to ensure every project is completed on time and within budget—while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, train, and mentor assigned staff to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring decisions for project teams.
  • Define and monitor employee goals, objectives, and project progress.
  • Support sales, marketing, and procurement activities as needed.
  • Represent Midstate Mechanical in pre- and post-project meetings and activities.
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, including staff coordination and task management.
  • Manage and track project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to achieve project objectives.
  • Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present billing statements and financial reports.
  • Coordinate staffing levels and schedules with crew management for optimal efficiency.
  • Attend job review meetings and provide updates and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Prepare and deliver various project reports to stakeholders.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 7–10 years of recent, relevant experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Field Manager, or similar role.
  • Must have an established Arizona subcontractor network for HVAC, boilers, and cooling towers.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and standards.
