Job summary

Admiral Heating and Ventilating, Inc is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong commercial HVAC and 7+ years of commercial project management experience in the Chicago area. The role focuses on leading budgets, schedules, and contract administration for complex projects.

The candidate will manage cost control, procurement, and coordination with contractors, owners, and internal teams while upholding safety and quality standards. This position is on-site in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, finance or business from an accredited college.
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• 7+ years’ experience in related industry or Project Management field is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and piping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets based on the takeoff estimate.
• Plan, organize and manage the construction project from start to finish including contract proposal and budget.
• Comply with contract requirements and manage change orders and billing.
• Monitor costs and ensure budget adherence.
• Maintain communication with general contractor, A&E team, owner, and subcontractors.
• Ensure procurement of major equipment and fixtures.
• Support and participate in the company safety program.
• Assist estimating as requested.
