Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer III to lead the design, validation, and implementation of HVAC products and components.

This role drives cross-functional collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to turn concepts into production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical engineering foundation, extensive CAD experience (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CREO), and a track record of improving product performance while reducing costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years HVAC experience
• Proficient with 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred)
• Knowledge of PLM systems and ERP integration

Responsibilities

• Leads design products and coordinate the manufacturing process of those products.
• Work with the engineering team to design innovative new products.
• Collaborate with sales and design engineering teams to create industry-relevant products that meet project specifications.
• Transform ideas into high-end products that meet customer needs.
• Create complete product designs using CAD and 3D modeling tools.
• Research new technologies and apply them to product lines.
