State of Louisiana, Division of Administration/Office of State Buildings, seeks a facilities operator to manage six 1200-ton chillers, twelve cooling towers, and water treatment systems across the South Central Plant, North Central Plant, and Capitol Complex on 12-hour rotating shifts.

Essential personnel duties include monitoring equipment, logging data, energy management with JCI Metasys, performing rounds, handling maintenance requests, and coordinating with Building Managers and department

Competenze

• Three years of experience or training in the operation or maintenance of large stationary engines or mechanical equipment.

Mansioni

• Operate six 1200 ton chillers with R-134a refrigerant and monitor cooling towers for peak efficiency.
• Perform rounds across Capitol Complex facilities to ensure proper operation of HVAC, boilers, and fire protection systems.
• Execute work orders, perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, and assist other trades as needed.
• Maintain an operations log and transfer notes to office systems, coordinating with Building Managers and department heads.
