You will architect, code, and optimize simulation tools supporting new product development and technology breakthroughs, guiding cross-functional teams in MBSE workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HVACR equipment and systems experience, focusing on modeling and simulation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Modelica, MATLAB, and M-code.
• Experience developing and maintaining simulation software for engineering applications.
• Experience with optimization algorithms, numerical methods, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop 1D steady-state and transient modelling for refrigeration and HVAC subsystems.
• Maintain and enhance in-house modeling tools for quality, scalability, and performance.
• Apply software engineering to automate simulation analysis workflows.
• Stay current with advancements in computational modeling and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to integrate tools in MBSE workflows.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and manage GitHub version control.
• Lead end-to-end simulation projects with planning, schedules, and stakeholder presentations.
