Job summary

The University of New England in Biddeford, Maine seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support HVAC, BAS, and electrical/mechanical systems across campus facilities. This is a Monday–Friday 1st shift role with on-call during winter storms and potential evenings.

You will diagnose complex system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with outside contractors. Qualifications include a high school diploma and 5 years of technical experience; Maine licenses such as Boiler

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC and mechanical system failures including boilers, pumps, air handling units and controls.
• Plan, supervise and assist with daily maintenance operations related to mechanical systems.
• Coordinate project work with outside contractors and vendors.
