Qualifikationen

• Substantial estimating experience in commercial or industrial HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and/or sheet-metal construction.
• Ability to manage complete bids, including takeoffs, pricing, scope development, bid leveling, risk review, and proposal preparation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and trade coordination.
• Proficiency with estimating, spreadsheet, word-processing, document-management, and electronic plan-review tools.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines while communicating issues clearly.
• Authorization to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license when needed.

Aufgaben

• Lead estimates for hard-bid, negotiated, design-build, and conceptual projects from opportunity review through final proposal.
• Review plans, specifications, addenda, schedules, contracts, and site conditions to define scope and risk.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and contingencies.
• Prepare bid analyses, exclusions, alternates, and value-engineering options for client proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes and finalize coverage before bid submission.
• Coordinate estimating activities and meet internal review deadlines.
• Partner with operations and leadership to evaluate constructability and project approach.
• Mentor estimators and contribute to estimating standards and tools.
