Job summary

The LiRo Group is seeking an experienced Sr. Mechanical Engineer for our Edison, NJ office. You will lead HVAC system design for commercial, industrial, municipal, and healthcare facilities, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Strong leadership, client engagement, and code compliance are essential. Candidates should have a PE license, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and at least 10 years of HVAC design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE license are required.
• Minimum 10 years of HVAC design experience with leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of HVAC systems for diverse facilities.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing using industry software.
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specs, and controls diagrams.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct QA/QC reviews.
