Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience on complex HVAC systems.
• Maryland Journeyman License required; Master License preferred.
• Must be able to pass government security background check.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Troubleshoots HVAC and refrigeration systems to identify malfunctions.
• Performs scheduled maintenance; calibrates and adjusts system components for proper operation.
• Repairs wiring and electronic components for building management systems.
• Prepares records and reports of procedures and actions taken.
• Responds to emergency service requests; may supervise other technicians.
