West Virginia University is seeking an HVAC Mechanic III within Facilities Operations to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of HV/AC/R equipment across university facilities.

Responsibilities include repairing chillers, control systems, and assisting with building systems while coordinating with CMMS and other trades. Requires EPA refrigerant knowledge, blueprints interpretation, and a commitment to safety and quality work.

Competenze

• Requires experience in maintenance and repair of HVAC/R equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; working knowledge of building codes.
• EPA refrigerant regulations knowledge and documentation responsibilities.

Mansioni

• Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems including chillers and air handling units.
• Troubleshoot equipment, interpret test results, and document labor in CMMS.
• Interface with supervisor and customers to scope and complete projects on time.
