Job summary

ACIS, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling facilities.

Technician III is a senior role with the ability to read wiring diagrams, manage complex systems, and communicate clearly with clients. Expect independent work, safety emphasis, and professional craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience and training.
• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA Universal certification.
• Texas ACR registration.
• Texas TDLR registration.
• Provide basic hand tools (gauges, meter, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).
• Willingness to train and grow knowledge in HVAC industry.
• Overtime and weekend flexibility.
• Basic familiarity with Outlook/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (centrifugal chillers, RTU, chillers, DX systems).
• Troubleshoot airflow, building pressure, and VAV systems.
• Trace and repair complex electrical systems.
• Document timecards, service activities, and inspections.
• Coordinate with Account Managers and Service Coordinator for parts and labor.
• Communicate daily schedule and maintain tools and equipment.
• Work safely following industry standards.
