Job summary
Mechanical Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a Lead Installer to drive high-quality residential and commercial HVAC installation projects in Dearborn Heights, MI. This is a full-time position with a family-owned company that values craftsmanship, safety, and professional growth.
As the on-site technical field leader, you will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate equipment installations, train junior technicians, and ensure projects meet exacting safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of mechanical HVAC field installation experience.
- Experience completing complex residential/commercial HVAC projects and reading schematics.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of working hours.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field operations for residential and commercial heating and cooling installation projects.
- Execute precise equipment replacements, retrofits, and system setups following safety standards.
- Coordinate daily jobsite logistics to meet timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot real-time mechanical challenges on-site.
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices to foster technical growth and safety.
