Shook Heating & Cooling in Livonia, MI is seeking a skilled HVAC Installer - Lead HVAC Installation Tech to join our team. This full-time role leads a two-person crew and oversees residential installations across the Metro Detroit area.

You will install furnaces and air conditioning units, mentor a teammate, and ensure projects are completed efficiently to the highest standards.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8 am–5 pm, with benefits after 90 days and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of experience as a lead installer.
• Must be able to install a furnace and air conditioning unit independently.
• Must be able to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person team on installation projects across the Metro Detroit area.
• Oversee the installation of heating and air conditioning systems in residential settings, including new construction.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, mentoring your teammate.

YOUR SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with a set schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. No nights or weekends required.

YOUR DAY

As our HVAC Installer - Lead HVAC Installation Tech, you will lead a two-person team, overseeing the installation of heating and air conditioning systems in residential settings throughout Metro Detroit. This position includes new construction HVAC installation projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, while also mentoring and guiding your team member. Your role is critical in maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and outstanding service.
