Job summary

The Mechanical HVAC Foreman at A/Z Corp will supervise installation, maintenance and inspection of HVAC, piping and related systems at project sites in Newburyport, MA. You will lead a team of pipe fitters, plumbers and apprentices, coordinate sub-contractors and ensure field work meets design intent and safety standards.

You will review drawings, schedule field activities, and enforce quality control procedures while maintaining productive site operations and collaborating with project team

Qualifications

• 10 years of field experience in industrial construction.
• Appropriate state certification or license.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of trades.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise pipe fitters, plumbers, welders and apprentices at sites.
• Oversee safety programs and quality control on project sites.
• Coordinate interfaces between project management and field operations.
• Review blueprints and isometrics to determine work details.
• Schedule trade activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Ensure installation complies with specifications, drawings and submittals.
• Maintain site housekeeping and proper documentation.
