Job summary

KZF Design is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design of building mechanical systems, with emphasis on HVAC, through all project phases in Cincinnati, OH. You will collaborate with architects and clients to deliver robust MEP solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a PE license, 10+ years of HVAC design experience, and proficiency in REVIT MEP, plus mentoring skills to develop the team and ensure code-compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of hands-on design experience in HVAC systems, process cooling/heating, and mechanical utilities.
• Experience producing Mechanical & Plumbing design and construction documents in an A/E consulting firm.
• Proficiency in REVIT MEP.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and production for assigned projects.
• Prepare construction documents in REVIT MEP.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Mentor and supervise mechanical staff.
• Ensure code conformance and design quality.
