Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to join our Water - Building Design Services team in Southern California or Phoenix. You will lead HVAC design for municipal and industrial facilities, mentor junior staff, and manage projects from concept to start-up.

You should have 12+ years of HVAC design experience, a California PE license, and strong client management skills, with proficiency in Carrier HAP/Trane TRACE, AutoCAD/Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• At least 12 years of HVAC design experience and a California PE license.
• Strong technical, project management, and leadership experience; client interaction.
• Experience with load calculations and building systems codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and mechanical design for municipal and industrial water facilities.
• Manage projects from concept through construction, commissioning and start-up.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
