Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Senior HVAC Energy Engineer based in the Bay Area or Los Angeles, CA. The role involves leading energy-efficiency projects, identifying savings opportunities, and delivering robust technical solutions across commercial and industrial programs.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, 6–8 years of relevant experience, and a PE license is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SQL/Power BI are a plus; travel throughout California is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred).
• 6–8 years of energy efficiency consulting or related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred."
• Measurement and verification certification.
• BAS/RCx experience.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site visits to identify energy savings opportunities.
• Develop calculations of energy and demand savings.
• Prepare technical documents and reports for dissemination.
• Provide project oversight and quality control.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across programs.
