Job summary

gpac LLC. in St. Louis is seeking a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to own and run complex design projects from concept to construction in a design-build environment. You will apply extensive HVAC design experience and lead the work with a hands-on approach.

You will mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality HVAC systems, primarily using Revit, and collaborate with construction, fabrication and preconstruction teams. Missouri residence or commutable preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of HVAC/mechanical design experience.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical design systems (generalist).
• Proven ability to run projects in Revit.
• Willingness to mentor while producing own work.
• Residence in the St. Louis area or a manageable commute.

Responsibilities

• Run your own design projects from start to finish in Revit.
• Design HVAC and mechanical systems across a wide range of system types.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, primarily on simpler projects.
• Partner with construction, fabrication and preconstruction teams in a design-build/design-assist model.
