AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking a senior maintenance technician to perform advanced technical support within the maintenance department and train junior technicians. The role runs 6am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday, with on-site work and emphasis on reliability, safety, and GMP compliance.

The candidate should have extensive experience in maintenance, strong Siemens BAS knowledge (Insight/Desigo), and the ability to lead root-cause investigations and training efforts.

Formación

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or relevant certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or associate's technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience.
• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
• Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (e.g., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Must have experience with Siemens’ controls systems / BAS. Specifically, Insight or Desigo.

• Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization.
• Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site.
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations.
