Job summary

Rise Group Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Technician to install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC control systems. The role includes startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site at job locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

You will interpret schematics, wire diagrams, and technical documents, perform calibrations, and provide support to technicians and end-users. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and professional communication is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in HVAC technology, troubleshooting, system controls and repairs.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
EPA Universal refrigerant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, program, maintain, and troubleshoot automatic temperature control systems.
Perform project startup, checkout, and troubleshooting for installed systems and service jobs.
Create commissioning reports for projects.
Respond to customer service calls, diagnosing and repairing control systems.
Provide technical support for end-users and mechanical field technicians.
Perform system upgrades and controller cutovers.
Work independently and assist in training other technicians.
Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and service.
