Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a skilled Building Automation Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of complex control systems on-site for commercial facilities in the Dublin, OH area.

You will mentor junior technicians, provide technical guidance to customers, and deliver high levels of service while documenting work and suggesting retrofits to improve energy efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

Minimum of six years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
Vocational school program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field.
Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems.
Mentor technicians and document service activities.
Provide high levels of customer satisfaction on-site.
Propose retrofits and system enhancements, and assist sales with technical recommendations.
Install and modify software and graphics for controls.
