Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking an experienced Commissioning Provider to support Energy-as-a-Service projects focused on HVAC optimization, operations, and energy savings verification across large multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare settings. In this role you will plan and execute commissioning activities, review designs, validate operation sequences, and coordinate functional tests.

Travel of 30–50% is required to support project delivery and turnover with a focus on high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or related fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong scope management and scheduling skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with owners, engineers and contractors.
• Knowledge of commercial MEP equipment design and operations.

Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of energy optimization and advanced sequences of operation.
• Participate in retro-commissioning and commissioning efforts on projects.
• Participate in design and submittal reviews.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests.
• Lead and attend construction and commissioning meetings.
• Perform functional testing for acceptance of construction scope.
• Drive corrective actions for performance gaps.
• Collaborate with controls teams to optimize systems and turnover.
