Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced HVAC technician in Houston, TX to troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial HVAC systems.

The role requires MA Refrigeration Technician License and EPA 608 Universal Certification, with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, document service activities, and adhere to OSHA/EPA regulations while maintaining a professional work

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Commercial HVAC experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Service boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, rooftop units, and other commercial HVAC equipment.
• Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Communicate professionally with customers and facility personnel.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
• Participate in required safety training.
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
