Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial systems. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on HVAC service, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Massachusetts Journeyman license is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration systems, electrical circuits, wiring, and electronic controls using modern diagnostic tools.
• Service commercial HVAC equipment, including systems under 10 tons.
• Respond to service requests, identify technical issues, and deliver effective repairs independently.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and field documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and deliver outstanding service.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency service requests.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain high-quality workmanship.
