Qualifications

• 7+ years of HVAC engineering/regulatory experience (Bachelor’s)
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, ICC, UL and related standards

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret HVAC codes, standards, and certification requirements
• Evaluate codes to quantify impacts on product design and roadmaps
• Represent Carrier on industry committees and standards bodies
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, quality, and compliance teams
• Provide technical guidance and code interpretations to stakeholders
• Lead compliance assessments and regulatory documentation reviews
• Develop product compliance strategies and SOPs for current and future regulations
• Support third‑party certification activities and audits
• Track legislative developments affecting HVAC equipment and sustainability
