Hartfordboilerrepair is seeking an experienced HVAC Burner Technician to service and maintain burner systems, boilers, and related combustion equipment for commercial and industrial clients in West Hartford, CT.

The role requires strong knowledge of combustion systems, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and a commitment to safe, high-quality service. A company vehicle, gas card, tools, and equipment are provided, with competitive hourly pay and bonus incentives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Burner Technician, HVAC Technician, or Boiler Service Technician (commercial/industrial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of combustion systems, burners, and controls.
• Familiarity with gas, oil, and dual-fuel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial/industrial burners, boilers, and combustion systems.
• Conduct combustion analysis, tuning, and adjustments to maximize efficiency and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections and document service reports.
• Provide on-site technical support to clients and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex system challenges.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service requests.
