Job summary

Residential HVAC Service Technician in Hartford, CT is a full-time, on-site role focused on diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and occasional install support for conventional residential equipment. You’ll work 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with on-call rotating schedule and a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on residential HVAC experience, a clean driver’s license, and EPA Section 608 certification. Using Housecall Pro for documentation keeps scheduling and invoicing streamlined.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Current EPA Section 608 certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential service calls, including diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with residential installs as needed.
• Work exclusively on conventional residential HVAC equipment (see equipment list below).
• Document all work, parts, and time using Housecall Pro.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners on-site.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle.
