Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Building Automation Specialist II to service and maintain complex HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS). The role involves diagnosing control system issues, testing software, and providing clear communication with customers on-site.

You will document field changes, support commissioning activities, and act as a resource for system upgrades while balancing independent work in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in HVAC and building automation.
• Experience with panel terminations based on submittals.
• Stripping and terminating 12–16-gauge wire.
• Red-lining and commissioning knowledge.
• Installation of panel terminations based on submittal drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services complex HVAC BAS to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in control systems; tests and modifies software.
• Communicates with customers on arrival and during service; reports progress and issues.
• Provides sketches of field changes and documentation for commissioning.
• Acts as technical resource for upgrades and system enhancements.
• Operates independently in fast-paced environment to meet schedules.
