Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Service Specialist II, Mechanical Technician to install and service commercial and industrial HVAC systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation for customers.

You will work with HVAC equipment such as RTUs, boilers, chillers, and VRF systems; perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and diagnose faults with specialized tools; communicate clearly with customers and respond to emergency calls.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Install commercial and industrial HVAC systems per specs and drawings.
Interpret layouts and diagrams for proper installation and operation.
Perform advanced troubleshooting on HVAC equipment.
Diagnose malfunctions with specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
Repair or replace HVAC components.
Connect electrical wiring, line sets, and ductwork as required.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations.
Service equipment including RTUs, split systems, ductless systems, pumps, fans, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
Maintain service records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate with customers about performance and energy improvements.
