Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large HV substation projects in the North America region. You will drive end-to-end execution, coordinate across engineering, factories, sourcing, and quality, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and risks, with significant interaction with customers and internal GE teams. Hybrid work and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience executing HV substation or high-voltage grid projects.
• Experience managing large projects involving factory-manufactured HV equipment.
• Customer-facing project experience with scope, schedule, cost and risk accountability.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in variation orders and claims.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of large HV substation projects from award to closeout.
• Coordinate across engineering, factories, sourcing, and quality to meet milestones.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule aligned with factory loading and milestones.
• Represent GRID in customer program governance with multiple GE Vernova businesses.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and EAC with PMO support.
• Drive engineering release, design coordination, and NCR resolution.
• Ensure EHS and Quality standards; identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Build and maintain strategic customer relationships and reporting.
• Support tendering activities with schedule and cost validation.
