Job summary

Dacon, the construction business unit of Dashiell Corporation, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex electrical construction projects in substations and power systems from award to closeout. You will guide estimating on major bid pursuits, mentor project teams, and collaborate with business development on proposals while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Based in Deer Park, TX, with travel to sites as needed, this role reports to the Director of Project Management and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field; degree-equivalent accepted.
• Minimum 10 years of PM experience in electrical/substation/high-voltage construction.
• Experience managing projects worth $20M+ in HV infrastructure.
• Experience leading estimating for large bid opportunities.
• PMP certification is required.
• Deep knowledge of substation construction methods and HV systems.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project; Procore or similar CM platforms.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio of large, complex electrical construction projects from award to closeout.
• Develop project execution, staffing, procurement, and risk plans at inception.
• Serve as senior client relationship manager for major accounts and executive reviews.
• Oversee project financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and margins.
• Direct and mentor Project Managers and Assistant PMs.
• Lead contract administration, change orders, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with BD on proposals, bid strategies, and contract reviews.
• Drive adoption of PM best practices and tools across the org.
