General Motors Company is seeking a Senior High Voltage Power Electronics PCB Designer to own and drive PCB layout for Traction Inverter projects and other HV power electronics. The role collaborates with PCBA engineers, EMC, analysis, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust designs and compliant release processes.

Responsibilities include leading PCB layouts, maintaining BOD/DRC/DFM, and applying HDI and embedded power device concepts.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Professional experience creating and releasing PCBs with leadership capability and strong IPC standard knowledge.
• Minimum 6 years of PCB layout design experience.
• Experience with ECAD Xpedition tool.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design for PCB layouts of existing and new inverters, collaborating with PCBA engineers and other teams.
• Create PCB layouts and participate in design direction meetings to ensure robust design.
• Maintain PCB BOD, DRC, DFM, and library parts with quality reviews.
• Lead IPC compliance and collaborate on deviations and templates for new PCB technologies.
• Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, test, and production release.
