Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Manager, HV Maintenance to lead high-voltage maintenance strategy and execution across substations and collection systems at Wind, Solar, and Storage facilities. You will oversee safety, planning, scheduling, and documentation to ensure safe and reliable operation of site electrical systems.

You will build and manage an in-house HV/MV technician team, recruit and train personnel, and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Asset Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the industry.
• Minimum 4 years of high voltage electrical testing, substation maintenance, or HV/MV field service.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA electrical safety requirements, grounding practices, and HV/MV LOTO procedures.
• Demonstrated experience supervising or guiding MV/HV testing and/or maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned substation maintenance activities performed by contractors and/or in-house technicians.
• Build and lead an in-house HV/MV technician team for inspections, testing, repairs, and maintenance across renewable sites.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop HV/MV technicians with defined expectations and safety practices.
• Manage technician scheduling, callouts, and outage coordination across projects.
• Develop the execution model for transitioning maintenance scopes from contractor support to in-house.
• Develop technical procedures to support in-house testing, maintenance, and repair of MV/HV equipment.
