Job summary

County of Sacramento is seeking a Human Services Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage a major human services program. In a staff capacity, you will recommend policies for implementation and ensure effective program operation.

You will supervise personnel, oversee budgeting and grant activities, and analyze complex regulatory requirements to determine best course of action. A strong background in public administration or related health/social services fields is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management field such as public administration, business or health services administration; or human services like social work, psychology, public health, health sciences, sociology.
• Two years of supervisory experience in health care, mental health, financial assistance, community or social services work.
