Job summary

Hilton in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Human Resources Coordinator to act as a primary HR contact for team members and managers, and to own onboarding and separation processes. You will deliver high-touch service to staff and stakeholders while driving HR initiatives and engagement across the hotel.

The role emphasizes HRIS data management, compliance training participation, and creating engaging communications materials to support HR programs and the guest experience.

  • Proficient with HRIS data maintenance and related tools.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact point between hotel team members, managers and HR.
  • Provide elevated service to internal and external guests via strong communication.
  • Own employment life cycle of team members, incl. onboarding and separation.
  • Participate in compliance and customer service training initiatives.
  • Coordinate recognition and engagement initiatives (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Administer electronic and paper data, HRIS systems and Excel logs.
  • Create communication materials: flyers, newsletters, presentations, visual media.
  • Communicate complex issues to HR leadership.
  • Maintain current knowledge of HR functions.

As a Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you're not just an integral part of the Human Resources department - you're spreading the hight and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

  • Act as one of the first points of contact between hotel team members, managers and the Human Resources Team
  • Provide elevated customer service to internal and external guests by leveraging interpersonal communication skills
  • In partnership with Human Resources leadership, own the employment life cycle of team members to include onboarding and separation
  • Participate in compliance and customer service training initiatives
  • Coordinate hotel recognition and engagement initiatives to include weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual celebrations
  • Administers and maintains electronic and paper date to include HRIS Systems and excel logs
  • Create Communication materials to include flyers, newsletters, presentations, and other attractive visual media
  • Communicate complex issues and challenges to Human Resources leadership
  • maintain current knowledge and understanding of the Human Resources functions
