Job summary

Fulgent Therapeutics LLC is seeking an experienced Senior HR Coordinator to provide guidance, support, and training to HR staff and handle complex HR tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years of HR administration experience, and knowledge of labor regulations, HIPAA, and wage laws. HRIS and Paycom experience are a plus, with responsibilities spanning leave, payroll, benefits, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR administration experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of basic Labor Regulations, HIPAA compliance requirements, Wage & Hour law.
• Experienced user of HRIS and Payroll systems, Paycom is a plus.

• Provide guidance, support, and technical training to Human Resources Coordinators.
• Lead projects assigned by Human Resources leadership.

• Reinforce company policies and respond to employee inquiries.
• Support onboarding for new hires and personnel changes.
• Assist with timekeeping corrections, attendance tracking, and payroll documentation.
• Facilitate benefits administration, including open enrollment and changes.
• Support termination package preparation and SOX reporting.

Summary of Position

The Senior HR Coordinator provides guidance, support and training to newer team members and handles Human Resources tasks with more complexity. In addition, the Senior HR Coordinator completes technical/administrative tasks with little supervision.

Key Job Elements

• Reinforce Fulgent policies and rules by providing correct responses to employee inquiries.
• Provide support for the onboarding for new hires and personnel changes.
• Assist with timekeeping corrections, attendance tracking, and supporting documents for payroll processing.
• Facilitate benefits administration, including open enrollment, entering enrollments and changes through web portals.
• Provide support for the preparation of termination packages.
• Maintain file maintenance and reporting for SOX audit.
• Provide Corporate HR Manager with required documentation as required during audit process.
• Assist collection of new hire demographics (like veteran status, EEO-1 data, location data) for compliance reporting, personnel file audits and integrity of all records.
• Leads the coordination of HR events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Knowledge/Experience

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field of study, or a certificate in Human Resource Management, is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR administration experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of basic Labor Regulations, HIPAA compliance requirements, Wage & Hour law.
• Experienced user of HRIS and Payroll systems, experience with Paycom is a plus.
