Job summary

Goddard Technologies is seeking a Senior Human Factor Engineer to lead usability engineering for medical products. You will contribute to design, use testing, documentation, and launches, collaborating with a diverse team across mechanical, electrical, software, and fluidic domains.

The role requires 5+ years in human factors/usability, strong communication, and ability to guide HF activities within fast-paced development programs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of human factors/usability engineering experience.
• Experience in the medical device industry and regulatory standards.
• Strong communicator, creative thinker and team player.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities in a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient/customer advocate to deliver safe, easy-to-use products and low burden of care.
• Support product management and product engineering in HF requirements.
• Represent HF/usability on core project teams.
