Cambridge, MA USA-based Lila Sciences seeks a UX Researcher to lead usability studies for its industrial-scale, AI-enabled laboratory software. You will partner with software engineers and researchers to shape high-density, SCADA-style UIs, ensuring safety, trust, and reliability under pressure.

You will run contextual inquiry, task analysis, and usability tests, turning findings into concrete design direction, patterns, and a design system contribution.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in UX research or human factors for complex software.
• Experience with high-density operational displays.
• Strong IA and interaction design skills.
• Ability to defend design decisions with evidence.
• Prototype and validate UI flows in Figma or equivalent.
