Job summary

B&A seeks a Human Capital Analyst Expert to support a federal NGA client as the lead expert in analytics, data modeling, and visualization. You will drive actionable workforce insights using data science, BI tools, and cloud technologies to guide strategic decisions across the organization.

You will collaborate with HD, IT stakeholders, and Agency leadership to automate reporting, improve data quality, and advance NGA’s human capital data strategy while ensuring governance and security.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analysis and modeling.
• 3+ years building automated HR dashboards for executive audiences.
• 3+ years of SQL querying and 2+ years scripting (Python, R, SAS).
• 3+ years handling, cleaning, and normalizing large datasets (1M+ records) and integrating data from multiple HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in data analytics, data modeling, statistics, and data visualization for HD.
• Build and modify predictive models, queries, and methods to support HR decisions and document methods.
• Develop dashboards and visual analytics (Tableau, SQL, Python) with live data and leadership metrics.
• Analyze data on hiring timelines, candidate experience, STEM workforce, and engagement traits.
• Automate ETL processes in AWS cloud environment and document data dictionaries and code.
• Support NGA’s data ontology and data views in line with data governance.
• Coordinate with CIO-T to resolve data issues and enable migration across data environments.
• Track data lineage and build reports highlighting data integrity issues.
• Apply AI/ML and LLM techniques to improve HR analytics and predictive insights.
• Recommend process improvements based on data trends.
• Ensure reports meet QASP quality standards.
