Job summary

Daimler Truck North America LLC is seeking a Sr. HTS Classification Specialist to support tariff classifications across DTNA’s U.S. and Canadian operations, including Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses, and more.

You’ll research, compile data, and assist with customs rulings while collaborating with regional teams. The role requires HTS knowledge, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and in teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree with 4 years related experience or 6 years in lieu of degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong research skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather product information to support accurate tariff classifications and customs rulings.
• Provide classification training to suppliers during annual training.
• Assist with post-entry auditing and provide PGA-related data.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement process improvements.
